The name of Jabugo is universally associated with its flagship product: the Iberian ham with D.O. that has managed to place this small Huelva municipality on the world gastronomic map. Jabugo is a black leg ham made from Iberian pigs raised in semi-freedom in the extensive dehesas of the Sierra de Aracena. These animals are fed mainly with acorns, a fact that contributes to achieve the character and exclusive flavor of the products derived from their meat. In addition to ham, all kinds of sausages are prepared to eat in Jabugo such as chorizo, sausage or morcón. The meat of these animals is omnipresent in the local cuisine, which is lavish in pieces such as loins, secrets, sirloins, dams or cheeks. It is easy to find good places to eat in jabugo, a town that has made Iberian products spearhead. Montesierra is a traditional inn that, despite the scarcity of its offer, has a tasty and professional cuisine especially focused on all kinds of Iberian root products.

Another recommended alternative for eating in Jabugo is the inn Las Bellotas, a classic establishment where a lavish menu is offered in Spanish and Mediterranean specialties, emphasizing the star product of the area: ham and other similar products.

Outside the town, in the small town of El Repilado, is Los Canastos, a restaurant framed in a landscape of first that elaborates for its clients a selection of classic recipes among which it is easy to find rice, game meats and other proposals of mountain character.
